Shall say what I want.

And what I want to say is Merdrey's teaching a new class in November! Check out the sneaks on her eye-candied blog!

I have to say that I love shouting out on the rooftops of the talent that my friends have. I've been so blessed to have many crafting (not crafty) friends to inspire me, not only in my crafting pursuits but also in my personality and attitude. For that, I'm really glad to have this blog and to be in my current position that enables me to promote their work, and wherever their work might take them.

So I have to make a stand and say to those people who question 'how can Lia do that?' - 'HOW CAN I NOT?' Organised Clutter was created to be a place where I can share my work, and little bits of my life. And my friends are a big part of my life. So there.

It's a Last-Minute Scramble!

Gosh, where does the time go?? I wanted the first session of the November classes to be this Saturday, 7th November but with the constant struggles with time, my project is not even done as of today! Eeeks! I am determined to finish it tonight though, with the mailer out tomorrow but in the meantime here are some sneaks.

The first class will go on this Saturday anyway, from 10am to 2pm with the gals who have a *ahem* standing order with Organised Clutter Classes. Drop me an email if you'd like to join us! Class is $65. If you're still considering to attend even after seeing these sneaks, then look out for the mailer tomorrow for more information - if you've signed up to be on my mailing list, it'll be in your inbox then too!

Some fun news for November! It's my birthday month and to celebrate, I will be giving away a special gift to two individuals! At the end of the November Organised Clutter Classes sessions, I will randomly pick two names from all the scrappers who've attended my classes since we began in July. One of these scrappers will win a $40 class voucher to offset on an Organised Clutter Class of her choice, and the other will win a huge kick-ass giftset of scrapping yummyness from me (expect some Maya Road, some Pink Paislee in that load of goodies)! It's my way of saying thank you to all who have supported me on this journey. :)

There were some disappointed people when spaces ran out for the 'Have A Happy Fun 2010' Calendar Stand class in October, so don't let it happen to you this month! Drop me an email at lialuvsblythes@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Till tomorrow, toodles!

Shabby Chic Goodness!

I haven't done a layout in ages, it seems. This one for Shabby Chic Brunei was fun to do! It feels like I stuffed it chock-full with schtuff. hmn ... nothing wrong with that right? :)

Shabby Chic is also celebrating their 3rd birthday next month! Have you heard about the BIG DO they're planning?? Iris Babao Uy will be in Brunei!! Ohhhh how jealous am I of all of you there in Brunei. Have you signed up for Iris' classes yet? Quickly do! I bet the slots are running out fast! Check out the class writeups here and pick up your phone to book your seats! Hug and smile at Iris for me okay! :)

toodles!

BOO!

I did this signage in preparation for Halloween but got a little shy to share it after I saw Carolee's. I mean, just look at all that gorgeous detailing! I wouldn't mind getting haunted by that at all! ;)

But oh well, here's my humble BOO created with Pink Paislee's Twilight papers and embellishments. It's been displayed at the office and I suspect a certain Mr C has his eyes on it! :D

Orange felt flower special-ordered from here. hee.

You like? :)

A Quickie!

My brother & his friends have a stall at the SG FLEA MART @ BIG SPLASH today from 10am to 10pm.

Score awesome deals on boy toys - (Star Wars, model planes etc - not my brother or his friends). ;)

They are at STALL 13 (in front of Old Town White Coffee)!

I'm going to be there, see you!

A Trendy Thursday at Pink Paislee!

Well wonders of wonders ... I finally altered my first piece of canvas!

After seeing Sharon's multitude of creations, I was inspired to talk about this unexplored (to me) part of creating art.
I'm not sure if my canvas can be correctly classified as 'mixed media' ... but I am determined to see it as a piece of art that I created and there is absolutely no correct and no wrong in art. :)

I found that quote online and I think it's very meaningful and a very good reminder to me.

For more details about the canvas, check it out on the Pink Paislee blog here.

x!
