Heya there! Today I'd like to share a couple of creativeness I put together last weekend. :)
We did a couple of visits to IKEA last weekend and on one, brought home a new chair to replace the bulky grey office chair I was using at my crafting table. That new chair ... ohhh I just fell in love. I've always wanted a wicker in my bedroom but never had the space to fit one. Finally hit my *duh* brain that I can have one as my workchair! So we got the HASTVEDA, had a good laugh at the carpark when we realised it wasn't going to fit so easily into the car, oh and we also got a cushion to protect my bum on the armchair.
The muslin cushion wasn't cutting it for me though, so I brought out my stash of Amy Butler fabrics and quickly sewed up a cushion cover using the Belle French Wallpaper fabric. It ended up not being a perfect fit, but hey I wasn't expecting perfection when I decided on just winging the sewing. :)
So to take the spanking-new armchair and cushion on a test drive, I created this tag for a Maya Road birthday girl - Caroline! Instead of using my usual kraft tag as the base of this Metal Bottlecap Embellishment Tag, I used a Maya Road Tag Coaster and crammed the Bottlecap with as much of Maya Road goodness as I possibly could. :) Happy Birthday, Boss!!
So are you feeling a Creative Hump Day coming on? ;)
